On this stop in the tour we’ll be exploring the island cuisine of Jamaica. In this hands-on party style class, you will create five fantastic small plates that are perfect for summer entertaining or a delicious weeknight meal. Our evening’s inspiration begins with two of our favorite Jamaican ingredients: ginger beer and rum. Soon to be one of your favorite dishes, we will make GINGER BEER GRILLED SHRIMP TACOS WITH RUM PUNCH JICAMA RELISH. You can’t go far in Jamaica without running across the next item on our menu, SPICED BEEF PATTIES WITH COCONUT CARROT SLAW. Then we’ll break out the griddle and prepare a beach favorite SNAPPER ESCOVITCH. As a spin on a classic, curried beef, you’ll create a CURRIED PORK SLIDER WITH GRILLED BANANA. The evening wouldn’t be complete without the most iconic item of all – PIMENTOWOOD SMOKED BARBECUED JERK CHICKEN.
