Natural Lump Charcoal:
The best choice when flavor matters. We never recommend briquettes when grilling because they don’t burn clean. When you use natural lump charcoal it lights faster, burns hotter, and leaves very little ash. It is also more responsive to oxygen so you can maintain consistent temperatures while cooking and smoking. With many flavors to choose from you can easily manipulate the taste of your food whether you are searing or smoking.

PECAN: Mild, light smoky flavor. Ideal for pork, beef, poultry, and baking.

MESQUITE: Offers a strong, spicy flavor that is distinctive of southwest cooking. Ideal for beef, chicken, fish, and wild game birds.

OAK: Mild wood fire flavor that pairs well with beef and fish, is great to use when baking.
