Japanese kitchen cutlery today is inspired by the blade-making traditions of ancient Japan while taking advantage of modern metal technologies. In this seminar we will focus on the benefits of these amazing knives and the tasks in which they excel. Using two of the most versatile Japanese knives, the santoku and the Japanese chef’s knife (Gyotu), you will get chance to experience for yourself why these are “must haves” in a well assorted knife block.
