Originating as a 1,200-square foot store with a small demonstration kitchen, Kitchen Window has grown to be a 20,000-square foot store featuring over 14,000 products and two state of the art cooking school kitchens as well as an outdoor classroom overlooking Uptown featuring a variety of grills and smokers. Kitchen Window has partnerships with over 400 suppliers and works as part of a 250-store buying group to offer competitive prices and exclusive offers to customers with a passion for food, cooking and entertaining.
Second generation owners, Doug and Lia Huemoeller’s vision is to create a five-star customer experience including exceptional service, competitive prices, a diverse product selection, and hands on experiences guided by a team of passionate associates.
Kitchen Window’s staff are some of the most knowledgeable retail staff in the industry. Thousands of hours of training are provided annually to staff through the KWU (Kitchen Window University) training program where staff members achieve certifications in 13 key areas of expertise.
In a visit to the retail store a customer could get custom-fitted with a knife, test drive one of over 25 different espresso machines, or take a trip to the patio and sear a steak on one of our grills. Kitchen Window also provides specialty services including on-site knife sharpening, outdoor cooking equipment rental and gift registry. Those customers searching for a more in-depth experience can take one of over 400 cooking classes offered annually to learn anything from making stock to the nuance of Thai cuisine.
The cooking school also offers a variety of event experiences for both private groups and corporate clients. With different event styles, dozens of menu options, and the ability to customize an experience our culinary team works to create hundreds of fun, memorable and hassle-free events each year.

Parking is available in the covered parking ramp attached to Seven Points. The ramp is accessible from West 31st Street or from South Girard Avenue. Street parking and Uptown parking lots are also available in the area.
